College Preparation
Preparing our students to continue on to a four-year university is a top goal of ECHS.
- 98% of our graduates meet the UC/Cal State admission requirements compared to 33% of students throughout Los Angeles and California.
- To build our college readiness efforts we offer CAHSEE (California High School Exit Exam) preparation and SAT preparation as part of our course curriculum.
- To ensure our students are prepared for the SAT, all of our students take the PSAT in 9th, 10th, and 11th grades.
- To create more awareness about college, all grade level students attend college tours once per semester.
