At Environmental Charter Schools, learning extends beyond the classroom and inspires students to take positive and meaningful action in the environment and community.
For eight years we have worked to develop and share award-winning programs thatintegrate a hands-on, project-based approach across all subjects areas. We recently received California State funding to share these programs and best practices with ten schools throughout the state of California. Our dream is that every school is able to implement an environmental learning program that fundamentally transforms educational nationwide.

The Impact
- With each hands-on environmental learning project we implement, another problem-solver, thinker, designer or doer evolves. We’ve also seen remarkable improvement in student’s attitudes, achievements and attendance.
